Major Disease Center

Major Diseases Center is dedicated to those diseases (such as diabetes and hypertension) that are not only prevalent in the black community, but exert the greatest toll on them with respect to death and disability. These diseases, by virtue of their mechanisms and complications, literally affect most body organs. We hope that you will not only excuse us for being too detailed in review of these diseases but also find them illuminating and empowering.
