Black Women Health Corner

    The end of this millenium has seen an explosion in new understanding of human biological processes and with it, an avalanche of new ideas and discoveries on how women and men are different biologically. We now know that a woman's brain is slightly different from a man's, and so are her heart and other vital organs of the body. It is out of this new appreciation of the biological uniqueness of women, that the editorial board of Blackhealthonline, chose to have a section of this web site be devoted to the lives of black women and the lives of generations of black women to come. It is our hope that this special section of our web site will enlighten all women the world over, particularly the African-American women who often bear the greatest burden of ensuring the good health of all the members of the African-American family.
    The Blackwomen's health corner will be dedicated to those health issues that are unique to blackwomen. It will consists of articles on health topics contributed both from within and outside our editorial board, health news summary relevant to women's health, wellness issues and discussion forum.
