OGUGUO C. OKOYE, MD
 
    Dr. Okoye is a member of the Editorial Board of BHO Inc. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital in Enugu, Nigeria. He completed a three-year Family Practice residency training in 1990 at Howard University Hospital in Washington D.C.; where he was the recipient of the "Outstanding Third Year Award in Family Practice". In 1991, he became certified by the American Board of Family Practice. Subsequently, he completed a one year Physician Executive Fellowship (an Advanced Business Management Course) at the University of North Carolina, Chapel ` Hill.

    In 1993, he completed his residency training in Anesthesiology at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. In his final year, he received the "Chairman's Accolade for Outstanding Performance in Anesthesiology". In addition, he is board certified in Anesthesiology as well as Emergency Medicine.

    Dr Okoye was a Clinical Instructor of Internal Medicine for one year at Morehouse School of Medicine, Atlanta. He also did extensive work in Hypertension and Biofeedback at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, Harlem Hospital Center, New York.

    Dr Okoye is currently in private practice as well as the President and Chief Operating Officer, Medstar Corporation, an Emergency and Critical Care Medicine consulting company that assists developing countries in the acquisition of Intensive Care Medicine Technology and training. His extensive clinical, research and business experience has proven to be invaluable in the development of BHO Inc.
